finally got ourselves a camera :) we couldn't decide at first whether to get the 500d or the g11, but after watching the youtube demos of the 500d, we realized we're not ready for it. it's also quite bulky compared to the g11. not to mention very expensive hehe...
after shooting a few pictures, we decided we're happy with our camera :) it's not so big, not so complicated, and takes good pictures!
this is our neighbor's plant... i wish i can grow healthy plants like she does, but after a couple of "dead" plants i don't think i have the green thumb. i was even dreaming of growing my own herb garden in our kitchen :(
this one's mine, and still alive. it was a gift from our neighbor so i think he has a good chance to grow forth and multiply.
i was experimenting with the aperture setting on this one. i still don't know what it means.
jamie oliver's concertina squid minus the parsley and the mint leaves. i never cooked squid with potatoes before, but this is quite good! i'll do this again with the complete ingredients. i'm going to try his other recipes too :) we already tried his lasagna with roasted pumpkins and it was really good! we never imagined that lasagna would taste great with pumpkins.
