Letting Go

Yep, I need to give up this blog. I haven't been updating this regularly, and I'm finding it easier to update my other blog than this one.

I still want to post more of my artworks, and I've got some projects that I plan to start by September of this year, but I'll be posting them here:

I had great memories via this blog, and I discovered an amazing lady --> yep, that's you bonnie :) I'll continue following your blog, I couldn't help it! I love your posts :)

So, for anyone who visited my blog (accidentally or not), you can find me in my other blog :) Stay happy!

Portraits - Jaydee

Portraits - Jaydee, originally uploaded by m1nesweeper.

I couldn’t sleep, and we couldn’t go out to take pictures today because we have mountains of laundry to finish. So I thought I’d revisit my old shots and see if I can do something more creative with it. I discovered one amazing photographer over the weekend, and was inspired by his creativity and fresh take on things like composition and post-processing. He decided to let go of all the rules and trust his instinct, and it worked out great for him. His photos are eye-catching, tasteful, unexpected, minimalist yet dramatic. If you have time, check this out:

Durians! I haven't tried one yet. I didn't like the durian candy or the durian puff so I'm not so sure if I'd like the fruit. But this is definitely in my "to try" list. I've been living in Singapore for 3+ years, I HAVE to try this.

Last February 14, Jaydee surprised me with a Panasonic GF1, and I've been taking pictures since then :) Now I wish I got into photography stuff much much earlier! Jaydee and I were hooked! (I bought him an Olympus EP-2 the day after).

I've been posting my photos in my flickr page, and some selected photos in my other (older) blog http://allmyreasons.wordpress.com. I thought I'd share some here too :)

This was one of the paintings in the Thai restaurant where we had a farewell lunch for one of our teammates who's leaving the company. The food was good, the company even better!
